Pedro Rodriguez leads the opening lap of the 1970 BOAC 1000 kms at Brands Hatch ahead of Chris Amon's Ferrari 512S. This now legendary drive, shared with Leo Kinnunen resulted in a victory by a clear 5 laps, despite having been brought into the pits by a black flag along the way.
